Nelson Square Body
This was a Grade II Listed Georgian Building which was in an advanced state of disrepair and damage. We bought it auction and Black & Blanc successfully sold all the units.

It was a 6 storey building with 12 flats which had been badly renovated by Arab interests. The building had a stop order placed on it from The Conservation officer at Southwark Council for damage to the building. We had to rescue the project. Assisted by James Ball, we went about designing the flats and the renovation plans for sale. The whole development was a most elegant and professional result. They were involved from the start, in finishes, and final decoration. Their input was invaluable We looked at three other agents – all of which were far inferior to James.
We immutably hit it off with James and there was no doubt in our minds who were the superior agents. He immediately understood what we wanted to do, he became involved in the whole scheme from the start, and his enthusiasm, good humour and expertise were essential elements in its ultimate success. Their sales effort, including selecting furniture, taking photographs, making 3D models, brochure production and getting editorial in the Evening Standard Property section were all examples of their star qualities. All sales calls, viewings etc were well communicated and we were kept right up to date with progress.
The sales team were also of a high quality and we would happily recommend them to any other developer. The whole project (except for the Planning and Conservation issues) were a pleasure and we were pleased with the overall project and the sales prices obtained.
Hankey Place
This project followed on directly after Nelson Square We bought a derelict Council site, just off Long Land at auction James attended the auction with us and advised us on the purchase. The prices were crazy at that time. It took us until November to obtain planning permission for a new build. James introduced us the architects who designed a brand new project, comprising 6 flats (in 6 floors) two garages and three freehold houses.
James was involved at purchase, design, specifications, furnishing, 3D Model design, and all sales. Again we had great success with the sales James & his team did us proud and I would happily work with him and his team again.
